Experience a powerful 1.5-hour Indigenous food-focused cultural tour rooted in survival, story, and resilience. Taste of Survival isn’t a full meal, it’s an immersive guided tasting that brings traditional Indigenous food knowledge to life through storytelling, hands-on sampling, and reflection.

  • All tours begin at The Forks Market Plaza, near the main entrance. A confirmation email with detailed meeting instructions and a map link will be sent after booking.

  • No. This is a guided tasting experience meant to educate and connect, not a full meal. Small, meaningful portions are provided.

  • Yes, for guests aged 10 and up. Younger children may find the content and tasting less engaging.

  • Yes! We work with families, schools, organizations, and tour operators to create custom Indigenous-led experiences. Reach out and we’ll help design something meaningful for your group.

  • Please note this experience includes roasted nuts and dried berries. Due to the nature of the program, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

  • Yes. All ingredients are prepared ahead of time. We cook onsite and follow food safety protocols and fire regulations.

  • The experience runs outdoors in fair weather. In the case of heavy rain, lightning, or extreme wind, we will reschedule or refund your booking.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance for a full refund. For cancellations within 72 hours or no-shows, the booking is non-refundable.

  • Absolutely. This experience is well-suited for private bookings, schools, or team-building events. Group minimum is 15 guests.
