Land Acknowledgment
Turtle Tours is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Treaty 1 Territory, the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
We acknowledge that this land has been cared for, governed and lived on long before the city was built, and that Indigenous presence here is not only historical, but ongoing.
We honour our responsibilities in the way we guide, teach and welcome others into understanding.
