Walking Tour at The Forks

Join us for a 45-minute guided walking experience. Exploring treaty history, place-based teachings, and stories of the land.

Land Acknowledgment 

Turtle Tours is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Treaty 1 Territory, the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation. 

We also work in partnership with communities across Treaty 2 and Treaty 4, sharing experiences that honour the land, water, and teachings of the original peoples of these territories. 

We walk with gratitude for those who came before us, and with responsibility to those yet to come.

Meet Ashley
Founder and Lead Guide
